UCSB Senior Dani Moreno took the win for the second year in a row at the UC Riverside Invitational. Maxine Goyette finished third in the 172 woman field. The UCSB men placed two in the top-ten en route to a third place team finish in the field of 29.
Junior Bryan Guijarro (Lancaster, Calif./William J. Pete Knight HS) led a UC Santa Barbara sweep of the top six spots to win the annual Lagoon Race against Blue-Green rival Cal Poly, and earn the Big West Men s Cross Country Athlete of the Week award.
