Ethan Godsey, a sophomore at UC Santa Barbara, took third in the men's 8-kilometer race in 23:45.2 at the Big West Conference Cross Country Championships at Blacklake Golf Resort in Nipomo, Calif. Godsey helped the Gauchos take second overall as a team by a 27-87 margin behind host Cal Poly.
