By virtue of winning the Lagoon Meet for the second consecutive year, UCSB senior Bryan Guijarro earned the first Big West AOW award for the 2015 season. The reigning Big West XC champion, Guijarro stuck with the leaders until the last mile around the UCSB Lagoon. He rewarded the fans in attendance with another scorching finishing kick, taking the 8k win in 25:55.77.
